This place is very nice, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food at the Christmas dinner was outstanding, very tasty Indeed

Excellent value for money, very tasty wholesome food and great service. Cauliflower soup, Cajun chicken skewers and garlic mushrooms all recommend starters. Chicken stew, fish and chips and Thai green curry (of the week) were all tasty too.We will definitely use here again.

We were hurrying on a road trip up north and spotted this pub on Google maps. Safe to say we were not disappointed!When we arrived at 5 it was quiet, but the lady who served us was really welcoming and put our minds at ease. A few minutes later it started to fill up, so it's clearly popular with the locals.The food was absolutely delicious! Great sized portions and arrived in good time.We had the steak & ale pie and the chicken gyros. The pie was definitely home made, with perfect puff pastry and a generous amount of meat & gravy.But the gyros was at a level that surpassed all else! Instead of the classic wrap, it was deconstructed and kept on the skewers. The garlic mayonnaise and the herb flatbread were delicious.Couldn't recommend it more, we will definitely be stopping by again if we are in the area.

Good good and service!! If you want birthday parties or any function you will be looked after very well.
